Found a really useful new connection. For any organisation collecting payments, it is hugely beneficial to be able to do this by direct debit. However it is difficult to get set up as a direct debit originator as the banks have very strict requirements for this. I have linked up with a company that do this for you – when the bank assesses the risk they are looking at this company rather than the originator. Of course they in turn undertake checks but they are less rigorous. For companies that have failed to get endorsement from their bank this could be a great solution.
