Funding Circle is about a year old now. It got a lot of early profile as a new and innovative lender to small businesses and I went to their offices this week to meet them and see how they are progressing. I will rarely deal with a lender unless I have met with them and I wanted to know more and be confident before I started putting business their way through Stirling Partners Finance.
The set up there is really good, very professional, they have funds to lend and a clear and simple process. The recent PR I have seen talks about how much they have to lend and how many applications they have had, but not too much about deals done. They have however done hundreds – so the proof is there that there is a demand for such lending and they can deliver.
Although their application process is straightforward it would seem to pay to have some professional help in going through it and ensuring you present your case in the most compelling way. It is one of those things where you only get one chance. I am now set up to support their applicants in this way and would be pleased to help.
